About Me

I am a freelance, 4 time Grammy Award winning audio engineer with over 24 years of experience.  I began in Venezuela, working with audio in the performing arts.  Then I worked in the latin pop studio scene in Miami for 12 years.  There I worked with top artists like Shakira, Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Placido Domingo, Thalia and many others.  I won my first 3 Grammys during that period.

I now live in New York City where I’ve been able to fan out and put my extensive experience into practice in different fields of the entertainment industry.  My work now includes sound design for theater, audio post-production for TV, radio and independent films.  I still work in music production.  In 2009 I won my 4th Grammy, with Los Amigos Invisibles new album “Commercial”.  Knowing that I can explore sound projects in different fields helps me keep my drive and energy fresh and always looking for new ways to grow.  Read more at www.Justasong.com
